Research Center for Law and Islamic Jurisprudence

In 1995, Research Center for Law and Islamic jurisprudence was established with the aim of studying the methodology and theoretical framework of jurisprudence on individual and social levels. In addition to extensively studying new issues in jurisprudence and translating many legal works, the Academy has compiled many reference bibliographies and specialized encyclopedias on jurisprudential and legal matters.

For the first time, especial attention was paid to philosophy of Islamic jurisprudence and law and others sciences that pave the ground for juristic studies as an independent subject. Being (regularly) updated, tackling a wide range of issue, carrying out comparative studies on jurisprudence and law and adhering to new methodologies of research, the Academy has now acquired a unique and distinguished status in the country. Thus far, it has published as many as 96 works of which 26 are among the works selected (by different book festivals).
